Unique Landscape of Belitung from the Air

by Joko Gunawan Posted on June 17, 2015

What a unique landscape when seeing Belitung from the air. If I can make an analogy, it seems like a piece of cake being played by the children. They use their finger to try the cake. In the end, so many holes in that cake.

It's the same condition with Belitung Island. It is happening due to the rise of Tin Mining. Many of people earn money from Tin mining sector. So, they dig a half of the land without being able to close it again. In the end, so many holes that could be used for fishing or tourism place. Oh my town!!!
