The Life of Contracted Nurse

by: Arifin | Posted on June 17, 2015

I am Arifin, a nurse who work for almost 5 years in Emergency Unit of RSUD Manggar East Belitung. I am a diploma nurse who greatly intend to help people. Almost every day I live my life with different situation, which means my life is fulfilled by working-shift. It might be felt by all nurses. Sometimes we are up in 7 a.m to 2.pm, or 2 p.m to 9 p.m, and also from 9 p.m to 7 a.m. I could say my life is so far from healthy life. Furthermore, the risk of disease is around me. However, this risk i take due to be a professional nurse. Do i complain? No. Because this is the obligation of nurses.

Nevertheless, when nurses have done their obligation, they have a right to have a reward. But until today, i never get that. Might be it is because i am a contracted nurse, which means i am not a government employee, sometimes being seen in one eye (never get full attention). However, I live my life sincerely. Hopefully in the future, i also can be a government employee

On the other hand, I need to help my family because i am the oldest one in the family. Never give up, keep on fire!!
