Belitung Nursing Journal (BNJ) is an internationally refereed publication that provides a venue for nursing scholarship with an Asian focus and perspectives from the region. Its objective is to highlight evidence on nursing science, management, healthcare policy, education, and practice within Asian communities worldwide, catering to a broad international readership.

BNJ welcomes various submissions, including original research, review article, theory & concept development, and case study on clinical and professional nursing topics from 49 Asian countries (according to the United Nations). Furthermore, BNJ accepts negative results, given that the research design is sound.

The majority of papers in BNJ are written by nurses and midwives, with no restrictions on authorship for all healthcare professions, as long as the articles align with the stated objectives and scopes, particularly with regards to implications for nursing science, management, and practice.

The intended readership of BNJ includes practicing nurses and midwives in all spheres and levels committed to advancing practice and professional development based on new knowledge and evidence, nursing and midwifery profession managers and senior members, nurse educators and nursing students, and researchers, scholars, and scientists in other disciplines with an interest in common issues and interdisciplinary collaboration.

BNJ is an official publication of Belitung Raya Foundation, Indonesia, jointly with Indonesian National Nurses Association of Belitung Indonesia (PPNI Belitung) and Prodi D3 Keperawatan Belitung Poltekkes Kemenkes RI Pangkal Pinang.

Belitung Raya Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on education, health, information technology, and the social and empowerment of the community. Belitung Raya Foundation is established in 2015 with an official license of establishment from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia (MENKUMHAM RI) with No: AHU-0009599.AH.01.12.Year 2015 and Notarial Deed No: 12 on 06 July 2015 by SRI ARIYAWATI, SH.,M.KN.

BNJ has been accredited by the Ministry of Science, Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI RI) with No: 10/3/KPT/2019, valid until 2024.

BNJ is indexed in Scopus, Emerging Sources Citation Index (Web of Science), PubMed Central, PubMed, CINAHL, Ovid EMCare (Elsevier), DOAJ, CINAHL, EBSCO, SINTA, Google Scholar.
